Fun Chill Out Place

Knowing there are a lot of sports theme restaurant/ cafe in town lately. To catch the trend, I choose to have lunch with a friend who work in Kwun Tong in this sports theme place.

It is located in a new mall called The Wave. It is our first time to visit this building.

You can see the promotion banner in the building entry. So we know we're in the right place.

Cool decorations in the building! It is impressive!

We took the lift to 4/F and the restaurant decorations are also very impressive. The table football is my childhood times favourite game!

Every single details of the restaurant stick with the sports theme! The cute table mat and tailor made glasses.

My friend ordered a set lunch.

Wow that was a devil lunch option. The angus beef was midium cooked, which kept it tendered and juicy. The taste of beef was intense, I bet no beef lover can resist it.

What made it even more devil was the crispy bacon in between! It significantly created layers of texture too.

I would say the cheese in the burger is one of the best part of it, it tasted completely with the rich and diverse ingredents, namely grilled portobello mushroom, grilled onion, lettuce, and tomato.

The portion was huge for lunch, so you need to be a big guy or maybe 2 girls to finish it.

For myself, I ordered this chef recommendation - Mac and Cheese. I just cannot say no to Mac and Cheese whenever I see it on the menu. It was acutally a big portion again, as mac and cheese are usually just a small dish.

As you can see the colour, there was full of parmesan cheese(!) Basically every signle piece of macaroni was surronded by cheese and tossed with truffle too. I really like the idea of adding truffle, it made it smelled extremely tempting! And it made the macaroni tasted more salty.

There was hidden pumpkin on the plate, which matched quite well with the strong cheese flavour.

I like the mushroom a lot. it matched very well with the truffle taste. The mushroom was also big, fresh and juicy. 

Handmade Semi Dried Tomato

Don't miss the handmade semi dried tomato, it was surpisingly good. And it was in a semi dried way so that it was stronger in flavour and juicy at the same time.

We ended the nice and chill lunch with a dessert since I really need a dessert to resist the heat. It looked amazingly good, I used to like the classic apple crumble more, but the toppings on this are also value adding.

It contained quite a lot of apple in the pie, which was very juicy and a little bit sour.

The oreo, chocolate stick, blue berry and strawberry made the whole dessert rich and interesting with the big vanilla ice cream on top.

The place was huge and well decorated, I would like to come back again on an evening with a big group to enjoy more food! Nice place recommended for group gathering!
